Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament held in the world. It’s named after the London suburb, where is held for the first time in 1877. Another fun fact – the longest final game played in the history of Wimbledon, is from 2008, the game between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal which lasted 4 hours and 48 minutes. Around 28,000 kilos of strawberries and 7,000 litres of cream are consumed while the tournament lasts.
