Wimbledon 2011 Guide

In less than a week the most famous tournament of all, Wimbledon, opens doors to welcome some of the most talented players in the world. Starting from 20th June, for two weeks the tennis fans attention will be turned to the green grass of the All England Club.

In women’s camp, the Williams sisters have dominated the tournament as both of them have nine conquered titles since the win of Venus in 2000. Although, they are not likely to be ranked in the World’s Top 10 when the tournament starts because of a lack of games, they are still favourites. Other names that are ready to take up the challenge are Maria Sharapova, Caroline Wozniacki and Kim Clijsters.
Wimbledon 2011 promises to be more spectacular than ever it was as the tournament celebrates its 125th Anniversary. So, there couldn’t be a better place to be than the courts of All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
