Spa Breaks and Dermatology

Now, I don’t know about you, but if you’re a pale, pimply waif like myself then you’ll definitely be interested in learning how to look after your skin, or dermatology as it’s called. There are plenty of books out there that talk on this subject, unfortunately though for me, many of these such books are aimed at women. Now, I’m no scientist, but I have noticed that a certain something has actually been improving the condition of my skin. Although it is still ghoulishly pallid, the spots have long since gone.
Sometimes the hair on my fringe gets very greasy and actually traps dirt against my forehead, which causes some really nasty spots to appear sometimes overnight. I also think I touch my face a lot, which I guess contributes to the whole situation. There, I just did it again. Subconscious face-touching can actually be just as bad as the habit of nail-biting. Try as I might though, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to stop touching my face. The worst thing is, the longer I sit here at my computer, touching my filthy keyboard, the more dirt and grease I’m transferring back to my face. Aaargh!
Then I noticed that continuous sweating seems to do some good for my pores. After a couple of days of sweating in the hot sun, I noticed that the ghastly acne on my forehead had almost entirely cleared up, which was quite miraculous. I guessed that it was something to do with the sweat flushing the dirt out of my pores. Seeing as I’ve spent most of my life in the UK and never do exercise, apart from visiting Golf hotel deals occasionally, I’d guess I get spots from lack of sweating.
So, I decided to take this whole theory a step further and book myself into one of those fancy spa breaks in England where you get to swim, use a steam bath and sauna. After a whole weekend of that, my skin is positively radiant. If you have spots, try sweating!
