Scotland During Autumn.

You have not experienced a season change until you have seen Edinburgh in autumn. This is when the true colours of the country begin to show themselves. You not only have the fields and grass prepping for winter, but the trees demonstrate a clear understanding of things to come. You have some of the most delicate colours that the world has ever seen, changing right in front of your eyes. I am not sure why I focus on Edinburgh when it comes to autumn, but I have been there a couple of times when this all goes down. Each and every time I go I am constantly amazed.

To be truthful, Scotland is a beautiful country all year round. It is one of the only places where you can visit year round and expect to have a wonderful time. Sure, they have their typical tourist rush in the spring and summer, but I would suggest that you visit during the off seasons. This would be for 2 primary reasons. For one, the locals are a little more relaxed, and provide you with a better understanding of what it truly means to be scottish. Secondly, tours and events become cheaper.

When we looked into booking our Edinburgh city centre hotel we considered bookings for late autumn. I am glad that we did, as the tourist season was wrapping up, and as I demonstrated earlier, I love autumn. While most Luxury Glasgow hotels offer similar services, our particular Edinburgh city centre hotel was absolutely exceptional. I wish I could suggest an extensive list of some of the Luxury Glasgow hotels that you can pick from, but I have only stayed at one. This is not to say that I won’t branch out on our next trip, but when you find something this good you don’t really want to give it up.

Enjoy Scotland.
