How to Travel to and from Heathrow Airport

As the warm weather is the perfect time to have a trip, you can plan your vacation to a wonderful destination like the capital of the United Kingdom – London. But if this is your first time to visit it, you should consider in advance your transport to and from the airport. The busiest but also the easiest to reach is Heathrow and there are different methods to travel.

In case you plan to arrive during the night, your best option is to book one of the Heathrow hotels a few days before. This is how you are going to avoid travelling in the early hours of the day. Although the Heathrow Express runs non-stop from Heathrow Central to the Paddington station in London. The train leaves every fifteen minutes from both stations and it takes it only fifteen minutes more to take you to the other end of the train railway. This is actually the most comfortable journey according to me as the Heathrow Express has all the extras like Wi- Fi, ergonomically designed seats and enough space for your luggage.

To travel by a car is also a great option. You can rent a car online a week or two before you arrive in London. The only disadvantage of this method of transportation is the fact that you may need a map, if this is your first visit. Otherwise you may find yourself lost in completely unknown city. Do not take the risk in this case and just take a taxi but be careful which company you are going to choose because some of them can be very expensive.

People who prefer to take the bus can take an advantage of the bus service that runs between the Heathrow Central and different locations in the UK. The good about it is that it can take you to the Victoria station in the heart of London. Unfortunately there is only one bus line that operates in the night and it is N9 running between Hammersmith and Heathrow Central.

Although there are different options for transport to and from the airport, you can still consider booking a room in one of the luxurious Heathrow airport hotels where you will receive the most hospitable customer service.
