There are many London cleaners, having cases of desperate housewives, who cannot handle difficult cleaning situations at home. 1. To attack the stain use some nail polish remover. Then, blot with a clean, soft cloth, until the stain is gone. Wash the affected area in the washing machine. Instead of washing detergent, use a cup of salt and cold water.

2. Another way to handle such spots is as you place a paper towel under the garment and spray the spot with hairspray. Yes, I said hairspray! Then, rub the problematic area with a cotton swab. This way, the paper towel will absorb the stain.

3. You can also soak the spot in a little bit of vinegar for about an hour. Then, wash the garment in the washing machine.

4. Cleaners in London recommend to treat such stains with a paste of lemon juice and cream of tartar. Apply the paste to the spot and let it sit for an hour. Then, wash the garment, as usual.
