How to Make Natural Floor Cleaning Solution

Natural homemade floor cleaners usually are made of common household products that can be found at any supermarket. These cleaners are inexpensive to be made and more importantly, they are safe to both your health and the environment. Unlike the commercial floor cleaners that often contain toxic additives, such as benzene, petroleum byproducts and the harsh chemical ammonia, homemade floor cleaning solutions rarely contain any allergy triggers, making them a logical choice for people with asthma and other respiratory problems.
These tips, provided by cleaners Soho, will help you to make your own natural floor cleaning solution quickly and easily.
All-Purpose Floor Cleaner
Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into a large bucket. Add 1 gallon of warm water and stir well. Dip a mop or a cleaning cloth into the mixture and squeeze out the excess moisture. Mop your floors as usual, then wait for the floors to dry completely before walking on them.
Wood Floor Cleaner
Combine together 1 cup of vegetable cooking oil and 1 cup of distilled white vinegar in a bucket. The amounts of the ingredients will depend on the size of your floor, so consider adding more if you have a large floor to clean. Use a sponge or a rag to rub the solution onto the wood floor until it shines. Let the floor dry completely.
Essential Oil All-Purpose Cleaner
Fill a bucket with 1 gallon of hot water, then add ¼ cup of distilled vinegar and about 15 drops of essential oil to the water. Use an essential oil that you think will suit best on your taste. Citrus and Lavender are among the most preferred oils because of their fresh scent. Consider using one of these if you don’t have any in mind. Dip a mop into the solution and clean it as usual. This solution doesn’t need rinsing, so simply leave the floor to air dry.
