How to Make Carpet Stain Removal Easier Part 2

You already know how to deal with wine and wax stains by using natural products.   1. Carpet pet stains are inevitable when there is a pet at home. When dealing with the mess of your pet, use paper towels to remove the solid waste, first. After you make sure that all solid pieces are removed, make a solution of one tablespoon clear ammonia mixed with a half cup of water in a spray bottle. Spray the solution over the stained area, and leave it for several minutes. After the stain is completely removed, spray clean water on the stain to rinse, and soak it up with paper towels. Let the carpet dry.
  2. If you have a child at home, it is much likely you’ve tried to remove Play-Doh from your carpet before. It is not difficult as long as you know how to do it. Do not pour hot water or cleaners on the Play-Doh that is adhered to your carpet. Allow the Play-Doh to dry completely, then loosen it up with a stiff brush. Vacuum the carpet and continue brushing if needed. This technique will do the work in most of the time. However, if the Play-Doh doesn’t come out, use cold water and mild detergent.
  3. Ink stains may seem like impossible to remove from a carpet, but they actually can be successfully removed if you get to the stain immediately after it has occurred. Pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a white paper towels and begin blotting the stain. Rinse the stained area with water and repeat the process if needed. After the ink stain is successfully removed, blot the excess moisture with paper towels, and leave the carpet to dry.
