How to Maintain a Bean Bag

What is the most comfortable furniture you have at your place? A soft and big sofa? Really comfortable chair? Your bed? All these may be really great supplement to the surrounding area. Still, there is one thing that can not be compared with anything- the bean bag. It always make the room where it is placed to look better, because such furniture are produced only in really shiny and fresh looking colors. Bean bag chairs are so preferred, because they are extremely comfortable and durable. Furthermore, they are not expensive at all. Of course, as most of the items you have, such chairs requires a regular maintenance, having in mind is frequent use.

As a beginning put the outer liner of the bean bag in the washer. Most of the bean bags actually have an outer liner around the bag that holds the cushion or the beans. If you have the same type of bean bag chair you just have to unzip the outer liner and then wash it and dry . Replace the clean cover on the bean bag.
If the chair cover is not removable,spot treat the serious stains on it with a carpet and upholstery cleaner. Apply the cleaner on a cleaning rag and dab at dirty spot. Never apply the cleaner directly on the bean bag surface! When the stain is completely removed, just swill it out by working on the newly cleaned area with a damp rag.
To handle the minor soils prepare a toothbrush and warm, soapy water solution. To prepare the cleaner combine two-thirds of the way of a glass with warm water and add two drops of soap. Submerge the brush in the mixture and scrub carefully at the spot. After that just leave the chair to naturally dry before using it again.
