How to Clean Pet Stains From Carpet and Upholstery

It is always great to have a pet around the house. It makes you feel better no matter what happen during the day, when it starts to jump around you like you are the best thing that ever can happen to a dog. Unfortunately, your puppy can be the reason for a huge nerve waste as well, when you notice huge unpleasant and smelly stain on your carpet or upholstery surface. Yes, it is not really pleasant moment, but you have to accept it. Just take a deep breath (but not near the damaged area) and think what will be the easiest way to deal with the unpleasant staining. In case you don’t have any idea from where to start, don’t fall into despair. You probably already have enough problems to get nervous for the smallest thing. As a start you have to prepare your so-called cleaning tools. In this case you will need vinegar, ammonia, baking soda, mild liquid laundry detergent, clean white rags or towels (paper towels work as well), spoon or spatula, nose clips and a heavy object.
To start the actual cleaning process extract as much of the excess moisture as you can, working with the white rag (paper towels).
Prepare a mixture of 1/4 tsp. mild liquid laundry detergent and 1 cup (8 fl oz/250 ml) warm water. Start working on the damaged area with it until no more dirt transfers onto the rag.
Then make another solution of 2 tbsp. Ammonia dissolved in 1 cup of water. Swill out with warm water and repeat the step several times.
After that start working on the area with a mixture made of 1 cup of white vinegar and 2 cups water. Rinse well and lay a few paper towels on the stain to cover it completely. Then place your heavy object on top of the paper layer and push in order to adsorb as much of moisture as you can.
Then just let your carpet/upholstery to naturally air dry.
