Vinegar is also a natural disinfectant, which will help you to get rid of bacteria and even mould. Another advantage of vinegar-based solutions over commercial cleaning products is that they are inexpensive and safe to use around kids, pets and food. So, you won’t make a mistake if you try to clean your kitchen with vinegar first. These steps are provided¬† by cleaners Paddington, and will help you to make an effective vinegar cleaner, which you can use to clean most of your kitchen, such as counters and stovetops.

  1. Get an empty spray bottle. You can either use a new spray bottle or an old one that you have thoroughly cleaned with hot water and soap.
  2. Pour 4 tablespoons of white vinegar and 1 teaspoon of dish-washing soap in the spray bottle. Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda to the mixture. The baking soda will react with the vinegar, creating fizz. Wait the fizz to stop for 2 to 3 minutes, then fill the remainder of the spray bottle with warm water. Replace the lid of the bottle, and shake well to mix the ingredients.

Consider using a funnel while pouring the ingredients into the spray bottle. This will prevent spilling any of the products out of the bottle. If you want the cleaner to have a fresh scent other than vinegar, add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to the solution, as suggested by cleaners Paddington. Then, use this vinegar cleaner to get the grease and grime out of your kitchen.
