How to Clean a Bathroom With Natural Products

Bathrooms have a very bad reputation for the dirtiest places in every house. It is because they usually house the toilet, too. According to latest studies, though, the toilet is a few hundred times cleaner than a chopping board, as far as the amount of germs on these two items is considered. Of course, this doesn’t mean that you should chop your food on your toilet seat, or that you shouldn’t clean your bathroom regularly.

Here are a few tips from professional cleaners from Kensington, London, which will teach you how to clean your bathroom with natural products:

First of all, clean the tiles. Wet them well with the telephone shower and prepare your own cleaner. Use one tablespoon bicarbonate of soda, one cup lemon juice, and one cup water. Mix the ingredients in a squirt bottle and spray the tiles. Rub with a brush to remove the filth and soap scum from the grout and rinse with hot water.

Use what’s left from the solution, or prepare more of it, to clean the bathtub and wash-basin. Use the same technique as for the tiles.

I recommend that you wipe the tiles, bathtub and wash-basin with a cloth after you rinse them. This way you will prevent water marks.

Proceed to cleaning the toilet. Pour a bucket of hot water into the toilet bowl to loosen up the filth a little bit. Take a bowl or some other container and prepare a solution of six drops sandalwood essential oil, 1 tablespoon vanilla essence, two tablespoons liquid castile soap, one cup borax and one cup white vinegar. Apply the cleaner to the toilet bowl with a brush, and rub vigorously to remove the stains and filth. When you clean everything from your loo, pour another bucket of hot water.

Fill up a squirt bottle with lemon juice and add six drops eucalyptus essential oil to it. Spray the whole bathroom with this mixture to disinfect it one more time.

This whole bathroom cleaning process shouldn’t take you more than an hour, so don’t avoid it. Do it every week, so to maintain this part of your house spotless and healthy.
