Four of the Most Interesting Cities in India

India is one very interesting and attractive country, situated on the Asian continent, and it ranks among the first ten according to different criteria. It is number two in terms of population, number seven in terms of territory and number ten, when it comes to economy development. The country consists of 28 states and all of them offer great opportunities for holidays. Use some of the international calls to get informed and pick one of them.
Pushkar. This town is situated in the state of Rajasthan, where in fact are situated most of the tourist sites of India. The things that make it so popular are the fact that Pushkar is the oldest city in the country and the lake, on which shore it is located. There are many temples within the boundaries of the city, which make it even more attractive about the tourists. One of the most visited is the Brahma Temple, built by stones and marble in the 14th century.
Amritsar. Situated in the state of Punjab, the city is home of almost the half population of the region. The most famous and remarkable attraction there is the so called Golden Temple, which attracts not only with its fascinating look, but with its history as well. The temple was built in the 16th century and its former name is Harmandir Sahib, that literally means the temple of God.
Jaipur. It is actually the capital city of the state of Rajastan and and it is very often referred to as the Pink City. Unlike the other cities in India, this is the only one that has been planned in advance and then created in the middle of the semi-desert in 1727. Among the popular landmarks are Jal Mahal and Albert Hall, the first of which is situated in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake.
Ranakpur. It is the also located within the state of Rajasthan and you can access it by road very easily. The wonderful Jain Temple, which could be seen there is very famous tourist attraction. It is supported by 1444 marble pillars and each of them is totally different. The summer season is the perfect time to call India and check the available tours and hotels in order to see this magnificent places.
